Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama acknowledged that his party is still looking for a suitable official to replace Merry Erna Hani as Head of City Inspectorate in which she was passed away on Saturday (8/13) night.

"We're still discussing who will replace Mrs. Merry," said Basuki, at City Hall, Monday (8/15).

He disclosed has appointed Secretary of City Inspectorate as Acting Head of Jakarta Inspectorate. Considering Mrs. Merry was still being treated in hospital during last Eid ul Fitr 1437 Hijri. 

Formerly, he had cancelled to attend in Lebaran Betawi on Sunday (8/14) for funeral.

"She was one of the officials that I rely on. She was buried after Zuhur prayer. That's why I had no time to attend and immediately call my partner replace me in the event," he expressed.

Meanwhile, City Secretary, Saefullah explains, to replace permanently, his party will coordinate with city's ranking and post supervisory board (Baperjakat) first.

"We'll see official data in echelon II or can be promoted from echelon III," he stated.

It is targeted to hold official inauguration this week.
